NJTL Donations


The Coachella Valley NJTL has given away 1,000+ free tennis racquets and balls to children to encourage their participation in the game of tennis. Appropriately sized nets, racquets and balls have been donated to Desert Sands Unified School District, Palm Springs Unified School District and Coachella Valley Unified School District as well as the Children's Discovery Museum in Rancho Mirage, Barbara Sinatra Children's Center, YMCAs and Boys & Girls Clubs throughout the valley.

The Coachella Valley NJTL currently provides uniforms for the Coachella Valley High School boys tennis team and over the last five years has assisted Desert Hot Springs and Indio High Schools tennis teams with the purchasing of uniforms as well as the on-going support of the College of the Desert Men's Tennis Team.

With donations, 18 new nets were provided to the ASES Middle Schools in the Desert Sands Unified School District and 1,000 junior tennis racquets were purchased and will be given to children participating in the various instructional programs.

In addition, the Coachella Valley NJTL has provided new courts and nets through a Court Resurfacing Program at schools, parks, Boys and Girls Clubs and for specific instructional programs including Indio North Jackson Park, Coachella Valley High School, Indio South Jackson Park, Indio High School and the Desert Hot Springs Boys and Girls Club and most recently at the Barbara Sinatra Children's Center as well as all the ASES middle schools in the Desert Sands Unified School District.

The Coachella Valley NJTL is a 501(c)3 and donations may be used as a tax deduction.
